FORECAST
The FORECAST Program...The FORECAST program allows you to enter weather data to produce a next day weather forecast. Currently two forecast models are used in the application: one that uses just the Barometric Pressure and the Wind Direction; and another which in addition uses the current Temperature, Humidity, and Weather Conditions for the day to assist in creating a forecast for the next day. In addition to the forecasting functions, the FORECAST application allows you to create an annual data log for your station and to keep an all-time records and means data log for your location. The content of the log file and the records file is similar to the Log Data Base (LDB) and the Historical Data Base (HDB) files which are used by the LWEATHER application. The FORECAST application does not contain the full reporting functions of the LWEATHER, DAILY, HISTORY, and LOGGER applications. However, the features are useful for data logging and record keeping, and you can always order the LWEATHER application at a later time when you want to expand on the reporting features for your station's database.
